During the second quarter of 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in the Dominican Republic showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides witnessed a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 33.4K in late March and reaching a low of around 16.4K in early June before stabilizing at roughly 17.3K by the end of the quarter. The app experienced a decline in weekly active users from approximately 434.4K to 389.6K over the same period.

Uber - Request a ride maintained steady weekly downloads, starting at about 11.6K and ending at 12.3K. The number of weekly active users showed a slight increase from approximately 383K to 383.3K by the end of June.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides saw an upward trend in weekly downloads, beginning with around 6.2K and peaking at approximately 13K by the end of the quarter. The weekly active users also rose from approximately 162.6K to 177.1K during this period.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver experienced a varied download trend, starting at around 6K in late March, peaking at 11.6K in mid-May, and concluding the quarter at about 6.3K. The weekly active users increased from approximately 49.8K to 57.1K by the end of June.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash showed a rise in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 2.2K and peaking at around 5.8K in early June before dropping to about 2.9K by the end of the quarter. The weekly active users increased from approximately 33.8K to 41.1K over the same period.
